The bar for my B&B reviews is now well and try set. I want the Aquabella to be an hours drive from my house in order that I can go every second weekend (every week would be decadent) sadly it's 8 hours on a plane. The final positive is saved for breakfast. We ably managed to sample 30 and still bring david back unused vouchers. David helped us plan an on-bicycle wine tour which, thanks to the networking of this twosome, cost us only the price of bike hire (saved us at least $80). The house is spotlessly clean and packed with accurate local information which Faith has clearly sourced carefully and there is plenty of opportunity to lightly grill the hosts for even more local knowledge.
The house is beautiful and organised to ensure that guests have time and space to relax with a free supply of coffee and home baking (one of the few B&Bs I've ever been in where you actually feel able to stray from your room). Niagara on the Lake did not disappoint and the experience was enhanced by the completely professional and convivial pairing of Faith & David. We spent 2 nights here during a wider holiday to Canada with a view to some civilised 'down time' from the bigger cities.
Would definitely recommend this place! More Show less Overall, I really enjoyed this B&B due to the quality of service and location relative to local attractions. I would consider coming back and doing a longer bike tour of Niagara-on-the-Lake. They also informed us that they are part of a group of B&Bs that specifically have accommodations for cyclists. In the morning, we were served a delicious breakfast of fruit parfait, eggs benedict, homemade muffins, and tea/coffee/juice. The hosts were knowledgeable about wineries in the area and also gave us personal recommendations. We were provided with coupons for complimentary wine tastings and local wineries which made our wine tour that much more enjoyable. We also took advantage of the backyard patio. I appreciated the fluffy robes in the room and beautiful bathroom. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. They gave us a tour and pointed out appreciated amenities such as a Keurig, and an assortment of teas which were available at all times in addition to complimentary wifi. The hosts were organized and waiting for us to arrive. We stayed one night at Aquabella B&B and it was wonderful.
